REFERENCES ARCHAEOGEOPHYSICS
Archeogeophysic researches were done in order to determine possible underground archeological works on the european side construction of the Istanbul Strait Road – Bosphorus crossing Tunnel Project.
Researchs of the possible underground archeological structures and geological stiuation were carried out for the construction works planned to build on the land which is used as sports facility currently in Yedikule.
Before the construction which is planned to built on the land belonging to TEİAŞ in Yenikapı- İstanbul, underground radar (GPR - Ground Penetrating Radar) measurements for the research of archaeological remains can be found in the environment were carried out.
Profiles were applied as perpendicular and parallel lines with the measurements on the Tümülüs structure near Sugören Village in Yalova.
The potential embeded tombs were investigated using underground radar(GPR) in archeogeophysics works in Bodrum.
GPR- Ground Penetrating Radar measurements were carried out to investigate the buried underground structures in the excavation area in Bitlis castle in Bitlis centre by Prof. Dr. Kadir PEKTAŞ from Pamukkale University.
Ground Penetrating Radar measurements have been done to investigate the continuity of the existing tunnel structure which is already on the Gaziantep Castle in Gaziantep proivence.
GPR – Ground Penetrating Radar measurements were carried out to investigate the archeogeophysics and geological facts in the region with the name of “Batal Höyük” in Gaziantep proivence.
GPR – Ground Penetrating Radar measurements were carried out to determine the archeological structures and the dept of the feet of Bozdoğan Su Kemeri in Fatih, Istanbul.
GPR – Ground Penetrating Radar measurements were carried out to reseach the archaelogical remains and determine the geological layers’ condition and location before the restoration work in the garden and inside of the Akşemseddin Elementary School in Fatih, Istanbul.
